Now, how about if you seen a roadrunner and a rattle snake fight at each other? Who do you think will win? The venomous snake or a long-legged bird? What happens after a death match between a roadrunner and snake?

A roadrunner or greater roadrunner is a bird with long legs from a medium-sized slender birds. This warbler can be found in Southwestern United States and in Mexico. They live in the desert or in shrubby land in California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, Oklahoma, and less frequently in Kansas, Louisiana, Arkansas and Missouri. They are also known as chaparral cock, ground cuckoo, and snake killer.

The roadrunner is 2 feet in length and half of it belong to their tail. They have a sylphlike, pointed beak. They walk fast to run down their prey. They eat small animals like insects, spiders, tarantulas, scorpions, mice, small birds, lizards and small snake. When they hunt for venomous snakes, they eagerly consume it. To kill their victim, they holds the victim using its mandible and slamming it again and again on the ground until the victim dies.

A rattle snake is poisonous snakes that can be found in America. The name rattle snake came from the rattle found at the end of their tails. They use this to make a loud rattling noise by shaking. It helps them deters their predators and serves as warning as well.

In the video below, a roadrunner tries to kill a rattle snake by grab hold of the snake’s head using the roadrunner’s beak. After grabbing, the roadrunner bangs the snake to the ground until the snake is dead.

On the later part of the video, the roadrunner eats the dead snake. It seems that the roadrunner is satisfied with its lunch.
