An alleged black horse was caught on video flying in the skies of Jeddah as thunder and lightning struck the city in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In the video, a figure that looks like a low-flying dark horse is seen amid a stormy weather. Several people are heard screaming “Allahu Akbar” in the background.

The Islamic phrase, called Takbir in Arabic, means “God is the greatest.”

It seems those people were praying because in Arab countries, an appearance of a mysterious black horse is a bad omen, which means something unpleasant is about to happen. Some said it is a sign that the end of the world is coming.

The article points to the horse as the third of the four horses whose coming bring a bad omen to the people.

Famine, extreme hunger.

The Black Horse
The third horseman rides a black horse and is popularly understood to be Famine as the horseman carries a pair of balances or weighing scales, indicating the way that bread would have been weighed during a famine. Other authors interpret the third horseman as the "Lord as a Law-Giver" holding Scales of Justice.

Another possible interpretation of the third horseman is to interpret them as symbolic of the wealthy and the destructive power of a class gap on a society. This can be supported by the color of their horse, black, which was seen as the sign of the wealthy as they were the only ones able to afford black dye.

The White Horse
Under this interpretation, the first horseman is called Pestilence, and is associated with infectious disease and plague.

The Red Horse
The second horseman may represent civil war as opposed to the war of conquest that the first horseman is sometimes said to bring.

The Pale Horse
The fourth and final horseman is named Death. It signified death because it was being followed by Hades.

The Four Horsemen

Are we in big trouble now? It could be close to the end of days!

Is the black horse seen on the video true?

The list of possibilities is actually endless but, of course, we could not discount the passage from Revelation.

And if that horse was truly the third horse, the one that would bring famine, then we should brace ourselves for the worse.
